Ik heb juist op een Australische site gelezen dat Kate en haar vriend Chris Walker uit elkaar zijn. Ze waren vijf jaar samen.
Kate heeft hem gedumpt.
Dit is het artikel dat vandaag verschenen is in een Australische krant ( voor hun vandaag, voor ons pas morgen).

SHATTERED Rugby League player Chris Walker is nursing a broken heart after his soap-star girlfriend Kate Ritchie called off their five-year romance this week.
In a dramatic sequence of events that would rival a Home and Away plot line, a devastated Walker this week split from the Melbourne Storm and fled to his family home in Queensland to seek comfort and guidance from his parents in the wake of the break-up.
While the TV starlet was unavailable for comment yesterday, sources from the Seven network confirmed the relationship has been heavily strained since Walker was removed by police from a Melbourne hotel where Ritchie was staying two weeks ago.
"I knew things were very rocky, so I was surprised to hear Chris saying this week that he and Kate were still in love and very much together,'' a Seven insider said yesterday.
"It's no surprise that they've broken up.''
Summer Bay veteran Ritchie - whose shiny profile was elevated with a silver Logie win earlier this year - is understood to have been fed up with Walker persistently living up to his reputation as the bad boy of league.
Despite its longevity, their union has been fraught with difficulty - with the couple enduring several public break-ups over the years.
Currently left stranded without the love of his life or a football career, Walker is expected to spend the next few weeks recuperating in Queensland with his parents.
Meanwhile, consummate showbiz professional Ritchie will be forced to plaster on a smile when she takes to the stage in the It Takes Two finale on Sunday night

HOME and Away star Kate Ritchie's boyfriend Chris Walker was removed by police from a Melbourne hotel where the actress was staying, it has emerged.
Although the NRL winger has confirmed the incident, he was at pains to protect his soap-star girlfriend's squeaky-clean reputation, saying Ritchie was neither present nor involved.
It is understood the Melbourne Storm player arrived at the upmarket hotel, where Ritchie and the cast of the Channel 7 show It Takes Two were staying, in the early hours of July 17.
But the situation became heated when hotel staff refused to allow Walker access to Ritchie's suite.
Staff called police after repeatedly asking him to leave the premises.
When officers arrived, Walker was taken to a nearby police station, where friends collected him.
Walker was not arrested or charged over the incident.
"There was a misunderstanding between myself and staff at the hotel," he said.
"The police were called, and I went home and went to bed. It had nothing to do with Kate."
Although Walker and Ritchie have been a red-carpet fixture for several years, their on-again, off-again relationship has often appeared rocky - something Walker emphatically denies.
"Kate and I are madly in love, and we are very much together," he said.
With Ritchie recently booted off the Melbourne-based karaoke contest It Takes Two, the pair will again resume a long-distance relationship.
Adding to Walker's woes is his frustrating season with the Storm. He's battling to hold a regular first grade spot.

heb ontdekt da de relatie tss chris walker en kate ritchie officieel gedaan is, Kate zou nu alleen wonen in Sydney.
